air in air とは、アーティスト・イン・レジデンスのairバージョンです。参加アーティストは「縁側の家」に滞在していると想像して、活動を行います。この架空滞在中の活動や作品 は、実際の「縁側の家」で展示されます。
「あっち」にいる「あなた」と「こっち」にいる「わたし」は何か共有できるのでしょうか。意味をどんどん変える土地に立つと何か見えるのでしょうか。
the “air in air” is an experimental artist in residence project. the residency stays at the air version of engawanoie which only exists in residency’s imagination based on a common picture of engawanoie and the land. the activities will be exhibited at the non-air engawanoie. “you” who is “there” and “me” who is “here”, can we share something? does the swinging / changing land shows you something?
n-o-w.me is the simplest photo-frame application created by our friend “as”.

わたしはあそこで天狗を見たのです。

tengu is a folkloric creature. but i saw a tengu!!!

ーすべてが変わっていく土地の、これまでの物語ー
2009年作の本作品では、いつまでも変わらずに続く存在として土地・共同体が描かれています。2016年になって、カルチュラル・プラットフォーム「縁側の家」を福島県浜通りにあるこの土地で始めようと思った時、忘れていた本作を思い出しました。本作の舞台も「縁側の家」も、2013年の秋までの２年半ほどの間、ここを離れるように（あるいはいつでも離れられるように）、との指示があった場所にあります。本作の登場人物たちは、その間どうしていたのだろう、忘れていたことに気付いているだろうかと、とても後ろめたい思いをしています。 高橋 優子 著、山下 ともこ 装丁
